9th birthday

Here are all of the presents I got for my birthday:

The cake had trick candles.  I got confused at first and then I started laughing.

I saw this purse when I went to Italy and Mom bought it when I wasn’t looking.  I love it because it’s my favorite color.

This is the stuffed animal I got from Megan.  I sleep with her at night.  Her name is Amy.

That’s my BYU shirt that Dad gave me.  I get confused between my BYU and Luke’s because they look the same.

This is my watch from Grandma and Grandpa Johnson.  I wear it to school a lot, sort of, and I put it in my Italy purse.

Grandma and Grandpa Walton gave me this Horse book and I almost read it every night.  They also gave me a Horse Calendar.

This is my yellow sweatshirt.  I wear it A LOT!!!!

This was the biggest present I got.  It’s a horse for the American Girl Dolls and her name is Chestnut.

My birthday was so fun.  I loved all the presents I got.

Christmas

Christmas was on a Sunday this year.  Ryan woke me up at 6:59am.  I jumped out of bed and got really excited.  Mom and Dad said to wake them up at 7:00am so we had to wait 1 minute.   Then we went downstairs and woke them up but Dad was downstairs making Christmas breakfast.  Dad told us to wait in Mom’s room and soon he brought up warm bowls of Christmas breakfast.  The Christmas breakfast was potatoes, sausage, cheese and eggs.  It was really yummy.  We ate it in Mom and Dad’s room and that’s really different because normally we see what Santa Claus brought us first.  We ate breakfast first because Matthew woke up really early and wouldn’t go back to bed so Dad decided to do it.

After we ate we sat on the stairs for a picture.

Then we went downstairs in a line from youngest to oldest.  Then we looked at what we got from Santa in excitement!  Mom got a stuffed animal monkey.  Ryan got a book.  Katie got a stuffed animal penguin.  I got a stuffed animal horse.  Megan got a stuffed animal elephant.  Luke and Matthew got geotrax CARS sets.  

I named my stuffed horse… Princess Buttercup.

In my stocking I got:

• A Kinder egg, and some other German chocolates
• A tea set for my dolls
• A notebook
• Bead necklace kit
• Candy cane full of chocolate kisses

We opened a few presents and then went to Church in the middle of the day because it was a Sunday.  The German ward and the American ward came together for only Sacrament Meeting.   Then after church Brother Thomas got baptized and a lot of people came. We didn’t stay for refreshments – we just went straight home.

When we got home we had more Christmas breakfast and then started opening presents again.  Here are some of the things I got and gave:

I gave Ryan and Dad BYU golf balls…

I got cooking supplies from Mom.  And coupons to have cooking lessons.  And I got a recipe book.  I really like cooking with Mom.

I was so excited to get the doll, Emily and the Emily book.  I’ve been wanting Emily for a long time.

I was also excited when Katie gave me Molly’s glasses.

Dad gave Megan and I princess pajamas that he picked out when he was on a trip…

  

In those presents was the American Girl school desk for our dolls…

The girls got a bunch of Horse Playmobil.  I LOVE horses and playmobil!

I gave Katie stickers of all the letters for scrapbooking.  I got them for a prize from school and saved them for Katie for Christmas.

This is all the stuff I got for Christmas:  (not the Molly doll just Molly’s cowboy outfit) 

Megan gave me a Calendar and I was thinking about giving that Calendar to my mom but it was gone when Dad and I went to get it.

 

Christmas was so fun.  I LOVE Christmas!!

Matthew’s Birthday

This is Matthew’s birthday.  There is a bunch of pictures of Matthew.  I only picked a few of them.  I think the one on top is the cutest.  

 

On these two pictures, Matthew was just trying the cake.  He liked the icing – not the cake.

Matthew was so cute opening his presents.  He loved all of them.  He also loved the dinosaur on the present tag. 

Matthew LOVED the dinosaurs.   He wouldn’t look up because he was too busy playing with all of them.  I think Lindsey (my aunt) and Matthew were having a fight with the dinosaurs.  Matthew won!    Matthew is so cute on these pictures.  He gets cuter as he grows.  I love him!!!

My dolls

I love playing with my dolls SOO much.  I got the table and treats for Christmas from my Mom and Dad.  Two years ago my Grandma Walton made aprons for my Mom, Katie, Megan and I.  This year she made matching ones for our dolls.  I love the aprons.  They are so cute.  I also got a new outfit… the one with the purple boots and the shawl.   That is my bitty twin doll and her name is Abby.  The other bitty twin doll isn’t in the picture but her name is Annie.  The middle doll is Megan’s.  The other doll is Katie’s doll named Kit.

The little bitty baby doll is mine and her name is Elizabeth and I always play with the dolls with Megan.  The big doll is Megan’s and her name is Gabriella.  I love my dolls.  I would be so bored without them.  I like to play ‘MOM’s’ with Megan and the dolls.  We pretend that we’re both mom’s and we have lots of kids.  I also like to play airplane with the dolls and line up the chairs together with the big chair in the front for the pilot. 

My Goals for 2011

These are the goals I am already working on:

• Say my prayers every night.
• Practice piano every day.
• Read the scriptures as much as I can.

These are the goals I want to work on better:

• To wakeup at 6:00 in the morning.
• Go to bed at 8:00 at night.
• Brushing my teeth twice a day.
• Flossing my teeth every other day.

These are my family goals:

• Say family prayer at 7:00am and pm
• Read Scriptures at dinnertime.

We made a New Years Resolution paper at Family Home Evening.  Dad told everybody to write their new years resolutions.  The hardest one for me to do is to wake up at 6:00 in the morning because I like to sleep in.  Katie always wakes me up and I always just lie there for five seconds before getting out.  The easiest goal to do is brushing my teeth twice a day because I just always do it at morning and night.

My 8th Birthday

My birthday was on December 28th, three days after Christmas.  I liked it.  I got lots of presents.  I went grocery shopping with Mom and picked out the big 8 to go on my brownie.  I picked brownies and we made brownie cupcakes.  The brownie looks very small compared to the big 8!

My Mom and Dad gave me scriptures, which I wanted so bad!  They also gave me a pink shirt, new polka dot pajama’s, a playmobil camper, and craft scrapbooking paper.

My Grandma and Grandpa Johnson were here at our house when Christmas and my birthday happened.  They gave me a scripture bag that is so cute and a blue sweater and a Tinkerbell2 movie and Charades.  

My Grandma and Grandpa Walton gave me a card that sad “God has promised happiness and he is always faithful to his word.”  Inside was 8 dollars.  Last year Grandma and Grandpa Walton gave me 7 dollars and I opened the card and I didn’t notice the money fall out… so this year I opened it up and PRETENDED I didn’t see the money.  They also gave me Scrabble Junior.

My Aunt Lindsey gave me an American Girl card kit.  My aunt Ashlyn gave me a purple scarf.  My aunt Nikole gave me a “What Baptism Means to Me” scrapbook.  Thank you everybody!

      

We had homemade pizza’s and yummy drinks for my birthday lunch.
